Following the popularity of our recent visit to the Mozartfest, we are delighted to be able to offer you the opportunity to attend this most prestigious festival in the heart of historic Bath. Over many years Bath Bachfest has built an enviable reputation for artistic excellence in baroque music.
We stay four nights at the beautifully restored Georgian townhouses that comprise the 4* Francis Hotel, situated in Queens Square in the heart of the city.
During our visit we have the opportunity to enjoy 5 concerts and recitals with outstanding artists including the Jonathan Cohen & Arcangelo, Xuefei Yang, Nigel Short & Tenebrae, Mahan Esfahani & the Academy of Ancient Music, all performed in the setting of the historic Assembly Rooms, less than 10 minutes walk from the hotel. As it's February we will also have the coach available for transfers as required.
The full music programme will be published shortly but includes works by JS Bach (of course!), Vivaldi, Handel, Sanz & Telemann.
