Join us in Liverpool for four nights of music from around the world including a solo recital by the prodigious Japanese pianist Nobuyuki Tsujii, while baritone Roderick Williams performs Mahler's Rückert Lieder with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra in a programme including works by Schubert, Sibelius and Vaughan-Williams. This evening also includes a Q & A after the performance with Roderick and Maestro Mikhail Gerts.
On International Women’s Day, Equilibrium (a quartet of outstanding musicians from the Phil - Kate Richardson and Kate Marsden violins, Rachel Jones viola, Hilary Browning cello) bring you a programme of music by women past and present. We will also spend time in the private screening room of the Hope Street Hotel for music & opera from around the world before a Gala Dinner in their rooftop dining room with terrace overlooking the city and river beyond.
