We always have a great time in London during our winter visits but next month really does deserve the title 'THE Feast of Performances' Join us for no less than 5 performances over 4 days in the heart of London.
We kick-off on Friday evening with a light meal before Cymbeline, Shakespeare’s late, tragic comedy of love and rebellion, in the glorious candlelit setting of a Jacobean theatre at the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse.
On Saturday you have the choice of tickets for one of two exhibitions: The Silk Road at the British Museum or Michelangelo, Leonardo, Raphael Florence, c. 1504 at The Royal Academy.
Then, following a pre-theare dinner at 430pm a new stage production of Mel Brooks The Producers at the Menier Chocolate Factory OR a performance at Wigmore Hall with the outstanding baritone Benjamin Appl and world renowned Lute player Thomas Dunford in a programme including works by Schubert, Fauré, J.S. Bach, Richard Rogers & Lennon & McCartney.

We then cross the Thames one more time with time for a lunchtime snack (own arrangements) before we take our keyboard side stalls seats at the Royal Festival Hall for a 3pm performance with The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and Vasily Petenko. Vasily is joined by Paul Lewis for a performance of Beethoven's magnificent Emperor Concerto and the orchestra complete the programme with Igor Stravinsky's The Rite of Spring. We complete our Sunday with a leisurely dinner.
