Enjoy a pre-Christmas treat and join us for 4 nights and days of music and art in Paris with highlights including Domingo Hindoyan conduction Verdi's Rigoletto with Rosa Feola in the role of Gilda at the Opera Bastille; the unique pairing of Klaus Mäkelä & Mitsuko Uchida with Orchestre de Paris at the Philharmonie (Beethoven 3rd piano concerto & Symphonie Fantastique) and the choice of Stravinsky's The Rakes Progress at the magnificent Palais Garnier or the outstanding baroque ensemble Gli Incogniti with violinist Amandine Beyer performing Vivaldi's Four Seasons in the beautiful setting of the Auditorium Radio France to finish off your visit.
Our music will be complemented with visits to the Musée Marmottan (home to the world's leading collection of works by Claude Monet) and the charming Musée de la Vie romantique which has much of interest about George Sands and Chopin. In addition we have a mix of free time and visits to some of the other iconic marvels of this Olympic city!
We stay (as we have on our previous visits) at the 4* Hotel Marceau Bastille situated between Rue de Lyon and Bassin de l'Arsenal less than 10 minutes walk to the Opera Bastille.
