Blow away the dark days of January and join us for a late 'New Year' celebration at the Hope Street Hotel in the heart of the city's Georgian Quarter. Following the success of our 'Hamburg comes to Liverpool' staycations in June we have put together a three night package for your enjoyment. In addition to a concert of French Classics with Domingo Hindoyan, Jean-Efflam Bavouzet and the Liverpool Phil, we use the superb 21st century facilities of the Hollywood style screening room at Hope Street to bring the highlights of a Viennese and Berlin New Year to the comfort of your plush arm-chair seats with two curated evenings of music, operetta and surprises.

Arrive at the hotel on Tuesday afternoon (with pick-ups from our usual Northwest pick-up points) and check-in to your deluxe room at the 4* Hope Street Hotel (acclaimed as Best City Hotel in the UK by The Times). All deluxe rooms have bath AND walk-in shower. Join us at 5pm for pre-performance drinks before we loose ourselves in an 'evening in Vienna' followed by our Welcome Dinner.

During the day on Wednesday we will spend the morning visiting some of the highlights of the city with free time for lunch and perhaps a look at the John Lewis sale before we return to the hotel mid afternoon.

This evening we 'transport ourselves to Berlin' to enjoy some of the musical and operatic highlights of 2021 followed by a Gala Dinner in the roof-top setting of 'The Fifth' at Hope Street affording panoramic views across the Liverpool skyline.

On Thursday we have lunch in the beautiful setting of the Liverpool Athenaeum (founded in 1797) and this evening we head across the road to Philharmonic Hall for a pre-concert reception and a performance with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic under Maestro Domingo Hindoyan and the ever-glorious French pianist (and great friend of Maestro!) Jean-Efflam Bavouzet. The complete programme includes:

After breakfast Friday you might want to take time to visit one or both of our great Cathedrals before departing from Liverpool around lunchtime.

Thank you for an absolutely brilliant visit to Glyndebourne. A very full programme had been planned, packed with interest and your organisation of everything was excellent. So much to enjoy, not forgetting the comfortable hotel and our exceptional driver, we will be looking out for another Maestro tour soon.
