This winter give yourself a February to look forward to with a three night stay at the Holiday Inn Bloomsbury, a performance of Kenneth MacMillan's masterpiece Romeo & Juliet at The Royal Opera House, Covent Garden (with Liverpool born Matthew Ball as Romeo & Yasmine Naghdi as Juliet). On our first evening we head to the Royal Festival Hall to see Vasily Petrenko in action with his new orchestra, the Royal Philharmonic. On Friday we have a wonderful programme of Mozart & Strauss with the London Philharmonic and Julia Fischer.
We will also include a visit to the new Museum of the Royal College of Music (which opens in October 2021) and, to finish of our visit, a true London tradition attending the Sunday morning concert at Wigmore Hall with the Merel Quartet before returning to the northwest.
As we have done throughout 2021, we will travel with our own coach and driver and use this coach for all transfers in London. We believe this gives us the best covid-secure enviroment for all of our guests. We will continue to ask guests to take a free lateral flow test on the day before the tour and to wear face coverings whenever on the coach.
You can watch the balcony scene pas de deux from Matthew Ball & Yasmine Naghdi's performance here:
