Imagine a week in Berlin staying at the excellent Hotel Leonardo just 5 minutes walk from the Deutsche Oper Berlin and performances of five Richard Strauss opera’s including Salome, Elektra & Der Rosenkavalier as well as lesser known gems Die Liebe der Danae and Die ägyptische Helena.
The performances are conducted by such magnificent Maestri as Donald Runnicles, Andrew Litton and Sebastian Weigle. They are joined by a talented group of outstanding singers including Anja Harteros, Evelyn Herlitzius and Michael Volle.
If you have been to the Deutsche Oper Berlin before you will know that the view from all seats is excellent due to the outstanding 'rake' of the parkett or stalls area. We are pleased to have been able to maintain the same price as our 2015 Berlin tour AND we have upgraded the included seats to the 3rd category.
Seats in the 19th & 20th Row of the centre stalls are included in the tour cost. You can upgrade to the 2nd category (Rows 14 & 15) for a total of £86 (covering the five performances) or to top price tickets in the 5th Row for a total of £160 (covering all five performances). Following four of the performances we have our 'Late Night Soup' at the hotel and a farewell supper following the 5pm performance of Rosenkavalier on Sunday 10th.
On Monday evening we will have a Welcome Dinner including wines..
