Emirates to operate A380 3 times a day from Manchester!

July 30, 2016

Emirates continue their growth from Manchester with the addition of a 3rd A380 each day from January 2017.

The upgrade of the 3rd daily flight (from the current Boeing 777) gives the airline almost 11,000 seat each week from Manchester!

With connections to over 100 cities (including the recently lauched 'world's longest non-stop route' from Dubai to Auckland) Emirates is a truly global carrier.

It's a rather pathetic reflection on British Airways (who you will recall rather arrogantly styled themselves "the world's favourite airline") that they can no longer be bothered to fly from Manchester to their second base at Gatwick let alone see any value in providing international service from the largest airport base outside of London while Emirates, Cathay Pacific, Qatar Airways, Virgin Atlantic, Ethiad Airways, Singapore Airlines, American Airlines, United Airlines, Delta, Thomas Cook Airlines, Thomson Airways  and, most recently, Hainan Airlines clearly DO! And that's just the long-haul services!
